Overview
Dani is still raw with grief when she joins her boyfriend and a group of anthropology students on a trip to rural Sweden, where a reclusive commune celebrates a midsummer festival that only comes around every ninety years. The endless daylight feels welcoming at first, almost healing. But the rituals grow stranger by the hour, the villagers more insistent, and what looked like folk pageantry begins to reveal something far more deliberate and terrifying beneath its floral surface.
