Overview
Set among the cedar forests and fog-wrapped shores of Haida Gwaii in the 1800s, this film follows Adiits'ii, a man whose guilt over a single terrible mistake slowly consumes him. Fleeing into the wilderness rather than facing his community, he surrenders to isolation until the boundary between man and spirit begins to dissolve. Shot entirely in the Haida language, it draws on oral tradition to explore shame, transformation, and what it means to find your way back to yourself.
