Overview
Lindsay Weir trades her mathlete jacket for a spot on the bleachers with the school burnouts, drawn to a group that sees the world a little sideways. Meanwhile her younger brother Sam is trying to survive the hallways with his dorky, earnest crew. Set in suburban Michigan in 1980, the show treats both worlds with equal affection and honesty, finding the awkwardness and longing that most teen dramas prefer to skip past.
