Overview
Edinburgh has no shortage of unsolved cases, and Detective Carl Morck has no shortage of opinions about how they should be handled. Reassigned to a basement unit most of his colleagues consider a dead end, Morck finds himself leading a ragtag group of investigators nobody else wanted. Together they dig back into crimes the city would rather forget. What emerges from those old files is often darker, and more complicated, than the original investigations ever suggested.
