Overview
When a mysterious outbreak transforms ordinary townspeople into grotesque, flesh-hungry creatures, an emergency room becomes ground zero for chaos. A former exotic dancer named Cherry Darling, now missing her right leg, discovers she has unexpected capabilities in humanity's fight for survival. Alongside her estranged lover, she assembles a ragtag militia of unlikely survivors to navigate the infected-infested wasteland. Robert Rodriguez's visceral action-horror hybrid doesn't pause to explain the apocalypse, instead barreling forward with relentless momentum and dark humor.
