Doug Campbell is known for his work in thrillers and dramas. Doug has directed over 50 feature films, mostly for television, many of which are still airing on a rotating basis. He is also a screenwriter, with over 35 scripts produced for the screen. “The Tomorrow Man,” a film he financed, wrote and directed, was nominated for Best New Live Action Feature, Best Director and Best Screenplay in the DVD Premiere Awards sponsored by Daily Variety Magazine. It won the Best Director Award. Doug grew up in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles, making his first Super-8 when he was 14. After studying under Sandy Mackendrick at Cal Arts, Doug wrote and directed his first feature at age 24. An actor’s director, Doug runs a well-organized, fun, fast-paced set, and his films are consistently on-time and on-budget. Doug is also a Permanent Resident in Ontario, Canada and he is able to legally work both in the U.S. and Canada
