Mikael Håfström
Jan Mikael Håfstrom (born 1 July 1960) is a Swedish director and screenwriter. After studying film in Stockholm and New York, he worked as an assistant director on the Swedish channel, SVT 1 and as a screenwriter. He was awarded a Guldbaggegatan 2002 screenplay “Leva Livet”. He is best known for directing the film drama film Evil (2003), the adaptation of Stephen King’s short story 1408 (2007), and the action film Escape Plan (2013).
