Overview
Two decades adrift in deep space, a crew of increasingly disheveled astronauts has one job: blowing up unstable planets before they cause cosmic trouble. The problem is, morale has collapsed, their alien pet is dangerously uncooperative, and one of their bombs has developed an existential crisis. John Carpenter and Dan O'Bannon made this shoestring cult oddity before either became famous, and its deadpan absurdity still lands. Philosophy class meets disaster, somewhere past the edge of the galaxy.
