Overview
Sam Lowry is a small cog in a vast, suffocating machine of paperwork and procedure, and he knows it. His only relief comes in vivid fantasies where he soars above the grey world as a winged hero. Then a clerical error kills an innocent man, and Sam finds himself chasing the woman from his dreams through a labyrinth of surveillance, state violence, and bureaucratic absurdity where saving anyone, including yourself, may be impossible.
