Overview
Roman Britain, 117 AD. After barely escaping a savage Pictish ambush that destroys his frontier garrison, soldier Quintus Dias falls in with the legendary Ninth Legion, pushing deep into the untamed north on orders to crush the Pictish warlord Gorlacon.
