Overview
The morning after riots tear through a Paris banlieue, three young men find themselves with nowhere to go and no good news waiting for them. Vinz is angry and armed. Hubert is tired and clear-eyed. Saïd keeps moving because standing still feels worse. Mathieu Kassovitz shoots their aimless, electric day in stark black and white, turning twenty-four hours of waiting into something that feels like a fuse slowly burning down toward an inevitable, terrible end.
