Overview
A burned-out television journalist stranded in the Sahara stumbles onto a dead man who shares his face, and makes a decision that feels less like ambition than exhaustion. Slipping into the stranger's passport and appointments, David Locke inherits a life that turns out to belong to a gun runner. Antonioni follows him across sun-bleached Europe with a drifter's patience, building dread not from action but from the creeping sense that a borrowed identity cannot be outrun.
