Overview
When the British Hairdressing Championship lands in the Yorkshire town of Keighley, old wounds get reopened faster than a fresh set of highlights. Phil runs a modest barbershop alongside his son Brian, while his ex-wife Shelly and her partner Sandra operate a rival salon across town. Competition forces these estranged lives back into collision, and what begins as a contest about scissors and styling turns into something far more personal, funny, and quietly moving.
