Overview
When a storm wrecks Paul and Barbara's sailboat near the fog-soaked Spanish coast, they seek shelter in Imboca, a fishing village that seems to have quietly rotted from the inside out. The locals are wrong in ways that are hard to name at first. Then Barbara vanishes. Then others close in. Stuart Gordon's adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft plays its nightmare straight, letting the seaside dread build until the town's aquatic secret rises fully to the surface.
