Overview
Sophie has a wedding to plan, a Greek island as her backdrop, and one stubborn question she cannot shake: which of her mother's three former lovers is actually her father? Without telling her mum, she sends out invitations to all three, setting off a weekend of ABBA songs, old flames, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Colin Firth anchor this sunny, gloriously ridiculous musical where nobody handles the truth particularly well.
