Overview
When the charismatic leader of New York's largest gang calls a borough-wide summit, he pitches a wild idea: united, the gangs outnumber the police five to one. Then someone puts a bullet in him, and a Coney Island crew called the Warriors gets pinned for the murder. Suddenly every gang in the five boroughs is hunting them, and the only way home is straight through enemy territory. Walter Hill turns the city itself into a gauntlet.
