Overview
FBI agent Emily Byrne spent six years missing, presumed dead, while her husband built a new life and her son grew up without her. When she reappears, gaunt and unable to account for the lost years, the reunion nobody prepared for quickly curdles into something darker. Her own agency treats her as a suspect. Her family barely recognizes her. And whoever took her clearly expected she would never come back to ask questions about why.
