Overview
Zain is twelve years old, Lebanese, and already carrying the weight of a life most adults could not endure. After fleeing a household defined by neglect, he survives on Beirut's unforgiving streets before a violent act lands him in prison. From behind bars, he launches an extraordinary lawsuit against his own parents, demanding they answer for bringing him into a world they were never prepared to care for. Nadine Labaki's film is raw, precise, and deeply uncomfortable in the best way.
