Overview
A summer in rural Maine turns deadly when a beloved St. Bernard is bitten by a bat and the rabies virus slowly rewrites his gentle nature into something monstrous. Trapped inside a broken-down car with her young son, a desperate mother faces the sun-baked nightmare of surviving against a dog she once trusted. Lewis Teague's adaptation of Stephen King's novel works because the horror is achingly ordinary, rooted in marital tension and mechanical failure before the teeth ever come.
