Overview
Sean Archer is a federal agent so consumed by his hunt for terrorist Castor Troy that he agrees to wear the man's face, literally. A radical surgical procedure gives Archer the perfect cover, until Troy regains consciousness and forces the same operation on Archer's surgeons. Now each man inhabits the other's life, family, and identity. John Woo's 1997 spectacle plays this ludicrous premise with complete conviction, turning a body-swap thriller into something genuinely unhinged and operatic.
