Overview
On a Norse island where killing a dragon is the surest path to respect, a gangly Viking teenager named Hiccup is already struggling to live up to his fearsome father's expectations. When he finally takes down a rare and supposedly deadly Night Fury, he finds he cannot follow through. The wounded creature, which he names Toothless, turns out to be curious and loyal rather than monstrous, and Hiccup must choose between the world he was born into and the friendship that is quietly remaking him.
