Overview
When a starry-eyed explorer ventures into the Amazon basin in 1981, he convinces two companions and a taciturn guide to join him deep into uncharted territory. What begins as an expedition fueled by youthful optimism devolves into a desperate nightmare where the jungle's predators prove less dangerous than the people within the group. Betrayal and physical ruin force the survivors to confront both the ruthless wilderness and their own capacity for cruelty.
