Overview
George Romero's unsettling character study follows Martin, a troubled young man who relocates to rural Pennsylvania to live with his estranged cousin. Tormented by what he believes are vampiric urges, Martin navigates small-town existence while battling his inner demons. The film blurs reality and delusion, asking whether his condition is supernatural curse or psychological affliction. What emerges is a portrait of isolation and desire that lingers far beyond the horror trappings.
