Overview
A marine biology student joins the crew of a battered Irish trawler for a routine research trip, only for the voyage to turn deadly when an unknown organism latches onto the hull and begins contaminating the water supply. Stranded far from shore, the crew fractures under the pressure of dwindling options and rising body count. Part slow-burn creature feature, part claustrophobic survival drama, the film owes as much to Cronenberg as it does to open-water horror.
