Overview
Connor and Murphy MacManus are South Boston Irish-Catholics with a grievance against the city's criminal rot and a conviction that God is on their side. Armed, devout, and increasingly reckless, the brothers begin executing mob figures one by one, turning themselves into neighborhood legends in the process. Meanwhile, a sharp and unorthodox FBI agent reconstructs their crimes with uncomfortable admiration. It is a film that asks whether righteous intent can excuse bloody hands.
