Overview
When his boss voluntarily dismantles the yakuza outfit he built, top enforcer Tetsu finds himself a free agent in a world that has no use for loyal men. A rival crime lord wants him absorbed or eliminated. Tetsu chooses neither, setting off a stylized, neon-drenched chase across Japan as a relentless hired killer tracks him through snowfields and smoky bars. Seijun Suzuki shoots it all like a fever dream, equal parts pop art and gunsmoke.
