Overview
William Ragsdale plays Herman Brooks, a hapless Manhattan office worker whose internal monologue plays out across four distinct personality zones in his head. Each corner of his consciousness houses a different voice: the romantic, the fearful, the logical, and the lustful. What begins as a clever visual gimmick for examining male anxiety in the early nineties gradually reveals itself as something surprisingly tender about compromise, maturity, and the messy process of becoming an adult.
