Overview
Benny arrives at college carrying a secret he has spent years keeping buried: he is gay, and nobody back home has any idea. His new best friend Carmen is running her own hustle, desperately trying to reinvent herself after a high school spent on the outside looking in. Together they stumble through bad decisions, cheap flavored vodka, and the exhausting performance of being someone else entirely. Benny's older sister and her boyfriend hover nearby, equal parts cautionary tale and reluctant compass.
