Overview
When a novelist lands on a college campus, he brings more baggage than any freshman orientation could prepare for. The real complication is his daughter, who is also enrolled there, and who has very specific opinions about his presence, his parenting, and probably his prose. What unfolds is a comedy rooted in the awkward geometry of a father-daughter relationship being renegotiated in real time, in public, with nowhere to hide. Campus life strips away every comfortable adult pretense, forcing a man more comfortable crafting fictional characters to finally reckon with the very real person he helped raise.
