Overview
Sierra Leone, 1999. Civil war has turned the country's diamond fields into killing grounds, and two men with nothing in common find their fates knotted together. A cynical smuggler with an eye for profit and a fisherman desperate to recover his son from the rebel militia that conscripted the boy as a soldier. A rare pink diamond sits at the center of their uneasy alliance, and the closer they get to it, the more it costs them both.
