Overview
Eight years after vanishing into the shadows as Gotham's villain, Bruce Wayne is a broken recluse, his body failing and his city seemingly at peace. That peace is a lie. When the masked terrorist Bane arrives with the muscle and ideology to bring Gotham to its knees, and a cat burglar named Selina Kyle complicates everything further, Wayne has to decide whether the Batman was ever truly finished. The answer costs him nearly everything.
