Overview
Philippe is a wealthy, paralyzed aristocrat searching for a live-in caregiver after a paragliding accident left him a quadriplegic. Driss is an unemployed young man from the Paris banlieues who shows up to the interview purely to collect a signature for his benefits. Against all odds, Philippe hires him. What follows is one of French cinema's most beloved friendships, built on irreverence, honesty, and a refusal by both men to offer each other any form of pity.
