Overview
Journalist Raoul Duke and his unhinged attorney Dr. Gonzo descend on Las Vegas with a trunk full of narcotics and a press credential that barely justifies the trip. What begins as a motorcycle race assignment dissolves into a hallucinatory rampage through casinos, hotel rooms, and the fraying edges of the American Dream. Terry Gilliam's adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's gonzo novel is loud, ugly, funny, and oddly sincere about a generation that burned itself out chasing something it could never name.
