Overview
Voula and Alexandros are siblings with a story and a destination: a father they have never met, somewhere in Germany. Without money, without guardians, and armed only with blind faith, they slip onto trains and hitch rides through a wintry Greece that feels more like the edge of the world than a country with borders. Theo Angelopoulos turns their odyssey into something elemental, a meditation on longing, innocence, and the dangerous beauty of believing in a place you have only imagined.
