Overview
South Texas, 1957. Five Mexican-American teenagers spend their days caddying at a country club that will not let them set foot on the actual course. So they build their own, one hole cut into a scrubby field, and teach themselves the game they are forbidden to play. What follows is the true story of how those young men formed a team, defied the rigid barriers of segregation, and eventually stood at the state championship against all expectations.
