Overview
Maud is a private nurse with a recent, consuming conversion to faith, assigned to care for Amanda, a once-celebrated dancer now confined by chronic illness. The job feels like a calling. Amanda, sharp-tongued and unapologetically hedonistic, resists salvation at every turn. But when a figure from Maud's past surfaces, the distance between devotion and obsession begins to collapse. Rose Glass's debut feature is quietly suffocating, a portrait of a woman who has mistaken her own fractures for divine purpose.
