Overview
A brilliant but bitter physicist in Manhattan stumbles into an unlikely partnership with a runaway teenager escaping her conservative Southern upbringing. Their antagonistic cohabitation throws open the door to romantic chaos when her parents arrive to retrieve her, only to find themselves seduced by the city's promise of reinvention. Woody Allen's comedy unfolds around a simple paradox: love rarely arrives as planned, and happiness often wears the wrong disguise.
