Overview
When her mother abandons her, Haewon finds herself caught between competing pulls: a forbidden involvement with her professor and the uncertainty of her own future. Director Hong Sang-soo traces her emotional trajectory through fragmented scenes and dreamlike interludes, where the boundary between what she craves and what actually happens dissolves entirely. A portrait of a young woman unmoored, searching for connection in all the wrong places.
