Overview
Jim wakes up alone in an abandoned London hospital, blissfully unaware that nearly a month has passed since a lab accident released something catastrophic into the population. The streets are empty, the city is rotting, and the few survivors he finds are barely holding on. Danny Boyle's lean, digital-shot horror strips away the genre's usual excess and replaces it with something rawer: the creeping realization that the infected may not be the worst thing left alive.
