Overview
Deep in the Amazon, a documentary crew filming for National Geographic finds their expedition hijacked by a fanatical hunter with one obsession: tracking down a monstrous anaconda rumored to grow beyond any recorded size. What begins as a nature shoot turns into a survival ordeal as the hunter's recklessness and the river's genuine terrors close in from every direction. Jon Voight chews scenery with gleeful menace, and the giant snake delivers exactly the B-movie spectacle the premise promises.
