Overview
A self-absorbed Hollywood actor figures the safest costar is one he can easily upstage, so he hand-picks an obscure woman for the lead role in a TV remake of the beloved 1960s sitcom Bewitched. The catch: she actually is a witch, one quietly trying to leave magic behind and live as an ordinary person. What unfolds is a romantic comedy that folds a show-within-a-show into its own story, letting the meta-layers do most of the heavy lifting.
