Overview
Gil Pender is a Hollywood screenwriter who suspects he was born in the wrong era, and Paris only deepens that conviction. When a late-night walk leads him stumbling into a running car full of strangers in period costume, he discovers he can slip back into the 1920s every time the clock strikes twelve. Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein, they are all there waiting. Woody Allen's charming fable asks whether nostalgia is a form of wisdom or simply the most elegant way to avoid your actual life.
