Overview
Tokyo has been stripped down to concrete overpasses and rubble, and the kids left behind want to burn what remains. Sogo Ishii's punk provocation follows a loose coalition of bands and their restless followers as they collide with a society that has grown fat and comfortable on its own complacency. Less a narrative than an assault, the film channels the raw noise of Japan's underground music scene into something that feels more like a declaration than a movie.
