Overview
Kurt Kuenne set out to make a home movie for a boy who had never met his father. Andrew Bagby, a beloved medical resident, was killed in 2001 shortly after ending a relationship, and when his murderer announced a pregnancy, Kuenne's tribute became something far more urgent. What begins as a portrait of one extraordinarily loved man slowly transforms into something far darker, a documentary that keeps rewriting itself in ways that feel almost unbearable to witness.
