Overview
Donnie is a teenager in suburban Virginia who sleepwalks through his days and barely through his nights. When a jet engine falls from the sky and narrowly misses him, something shifts. A six-foot rabbit named Frank starts appearing in the dark, counting down the days until the end of the world and whispering instructions Donnie feels compelled to follow. Richard Kelly's debut is a precise, unsettling portrait of adolescence, fate, and the strange comfort of feeling chosen.
