Overview
On New Year's Day, a young Englishman named Tim learns a peculiar family secret: the men in his bloodline can travel back through their own lives. He sets out using the gift to win love, fix awkward moments, and smooth over regrets. But writer-director Richard Curtis is less interested in the mechanics of time travel than in what the ability reveals about ordinary life, and why the moments we rush past might be the ones most worth holding onto.
