Overview
When a burned-out skeptic drifts back to the Texas land his family has held for generations, he convinces his siblings to do something unexpected with it: build a golf course. What follows is less a sports story than a portrait of a fractured family trying to find common ground, literally and figuratively, through a project that probably should not work. The comedy comes from watching people who know each other too well attempt something they barely understand.
