Overview
The Kim family has no jobs, no prospects, and a basement apartment that floods when it rains. The Parks have a modernist hilltop home, a housekeeper, and more money than awareness. What begins as an opportunistic scheme, one forged document at a time, gradually pulls both families toward each other in ways neither could have planned. Bong Joon-ho's Palme d'Or winner uses class anxiety as a pressure cooker, building toward something darkly funny, genuinely unsettling, and structurally airtight.
