Overview
Tilly Dunnage spent years training in the fashion houses of Europe, but now she's back in the small Australian outback town that drove her out as a child. Armed with a sewing machine and some unresolved scores, she sets about dressing the locals in ways they never imagined while slowly piecing together a complicated past. Part dark comedy, part melodrama, the film wears its eccentricity proudly, anchored by a sharp Kate Winslet performance that balances glamour with genuine menace.
