Overview
A burned-out ex-cop trades Los Angeles for the dusty anonymity of a border-town sheriff's post, hoping to leave his failures behind. When a cartel kingpin and his armed convoy barrel toward his quiet jurisdiction with a hostage in tow, Owens discovers that some men can't simply opt out. A small-town lawman and his makeshift deputies become the only obstacle between a fugitive empire and the Mexican border.
